SUBSTANCE: invention relates to light industry, namely to products for animal care, mainly cats. It is intended for use both when sharpening claws, and as a bed for a cat, as well as for playing. The cat scratcher post contains a block for sharpening claws, made in the form of honeycomb paper filler 1 in a compressed state, the sheets of paper of which have upper cutouts. The dimensions of the cells of the honeycomb paper filler are from 4 mm to 40 mm in the stretched state. The honeycomb paper filler is fastened on two opposite sides with plates 2. It is made with the possibility of taking the form of a round cylinder with an upper recess in the middle and at least one annular groove 3 at the bottom of the recess, in each of which ball 4 is installed with the possibility of moving in groove 3, after stretching the honeycomb paper filler in the direction of plates 2 and turning relatively to the edges of the sheets from the upper cutout. In this case, plates 2 are made with the possibility of fixing to each other.
