FIELD: chemical-pharmaceutical industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of chemical-pharmaceutical industry and can be used to quantify the silver salt of sulfadimidine for standardization and quality control of drug products. For this, a controlling aqueous solution of sulfadimidine is prepared. Optical density of the working and controlling samples is recorded spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 242 nm. Calculation of the results is carried out according to the specific absorbance taking into account the molecular masses of sulfadimidine and its silver salt.
EFFECT: invention provides a unification of the analysis technique in control and analytical laboratories, the results of the determination and reduction in the analysis error.
