SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in hydraulic protection structures for oil-filled electric motors of submersible pumping units intended for oil production. The device for hydraulic protection of a submersible motor comprises a vertical housing made in the form of a hollow cylinder, a head, a base with an internal cavity, a shaft mounted along the housing axis, radial bearings, nipples, an oil-filled chamber, an axial support and a compensation unit. A sleeve movable in the axial direction is installed in the base cavity at the end of the shaft. The sleeve is made in the form of an inverted cup, pressed from above by a spring located around the shaft. In the lower part, the base cavity is limited by an internal annular protrusion with a central hole. An annular expansion is formed at the inlet of the central hole. The lower edge of the cup is fixed in the annular expansion and ensures the tightness of the base cavity.

EFFECT: ensuring the efficiency of the electric motor by eliminating oil leaks during installation of the device, increasing convenience and reducing installation time.
