FIELD: transportation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a compressor system for a rail vehicle including a compressor (3) driven by an electric motor (1) for compressed air producing for a tank (4), wherein the electric motor (1) is configured to be adjustable using the adjusting device (5). Further, to determine pressure for the adjusting device (5) a pressure sensor (7) is located downstream the compressor (3) in the upstream compressed air supply pipeline (6). Actuator (8) for continuously influencing the rotational speed of the electric motor (1) is located between the power supply device (15) and the electric motor (1), wherein the actuator (8) is configured to be adjusted using the adjusting device (5) and, at that a pneumatic switch (16) for monitoring the pressure in the compressed air reservoir (4) and for influencing the rotational speed of the electric motor (1) is located in the downstream pipeline from the compressor (3), in the compressed air supply line (6).
EFFECT: proposed is a compressor system for a rail vehicle.
