FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the compressor system for the rail vehicle including an electric motor driven by an electric motor (1) through a drive shaft (2), a compressor (3) for producing compressed air for at least one tank (4) for compressed air. The electric motor (1) is configured for adjustment, at least indirectly by means of an adjusting device (5) for operation of the electric motor (1) at least with nominal rotation speed (n), within the limits from maximum rotation frequency (m) to the minimum rotation frequency (i). Further, in the flow direction from the compressor (3), a conducting compressed air line is provided (6), at least one pressure sensor (7) for determining the pressure for the adjustment device (5) is provided. According to the invention, an actuator (8) for continuous effect on rotational speed of the electric motor (1) is arranged between a device (15) and the electric motor (1), wherein the adjustment of the actuator (8) is carried out through the adjusting device (5).
EFFECT: reduced power consumption by the compressor.
