FIELD: mining.

SUBSTANCE: method includes combined extraction of layers along the strike in retreat order with the use of mechanized complexes and extraction of interlayer strata by a cutter-loader located at the face conveyor of the lower layer mechanized complex. After the coal is extracted in the upper layer by amount of coverage of the cutter-loader working element, the support is moved simultaneously with extension of canopy jacks of the upper complex located in the base of the mechanized support towards the mined-out space, after that coal extraction is started by the cutter-loader in the lower layer and pillar left in the interlayer patch. In addition, besides separation by the moving canopy, the interlayer patch is separated from the caved in rock by barricades, and after coal extraction the movable canopies, the barricades and sections of the lower layer support are moved to the face, and coal extraction starts again from the upper layer.

EFFECT: invention makes it possible to increase safety and concentration of performance of works.
