FIELD: mining.

SUBSTANCE: method of coal extraction from interlayer formation at development of thick beds involves development of horizontal beds along the strike by using power-driven complexes and extraction of interlayer formation in straps upslope with drilling complex. At that, after coal extraction in the strap the working member of drilling complex is lowered, fixed on upper coverings of hydraulically operated support of horizontal bed of lower complex and cut is performed to extract coal in the next strap. At the same time, the worked-out area is supported against fall of ceiling with cantilever part of hydraulically operated support of horizontal bed of upper complex.

EFFECT: improving labour conditions of mine workers, efficiency and safety of work, reduction of labour costs for mine works and providing minimum losses during development of thick beds.
