SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of radionuclide technology and can be used both in technological processes using molecular tritium and tritium-containing compounds, and for deep purification of gas discharges from tritium enterprises of the nuclear industry in solving environmental problems. Method of purifying gases from vapors of tritiated water is that a gas stream is fed from below a counter-current column of phase isotopic exchange filled with a spiral-prismatic packing, and a stream of water of natural isotopic composition is supplied from the top of the column. Choice of the column height is based on the required degree of detritization of the gas K. Method uses a spiral-prismatic nozzle made of copper oxidized wire.

EFFECT: increase of the purification degree.
