FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to the field of technical physics, namely, to methods for studying the heat-shielding properties of high-temperature coatings and devices for their implementation, and can be used for testing high-temperature coatings of parts of predominantly of the gas turbine engines (GTE). Essence of the invention consists in the fact that the sample, which is made in the form of two halves that are symmetrical with respect to the longitudinal line, one of which is coated with the heat-shielding coating under investigation, is preliminary rigidly connected by means of the jumpers, are installed in the grippers of the device, which are made in the form of spring-loaded sponges with ceramic inserts, which are evenly distributed on their internal surfaces and the annular collar at the end of the lower gripper. Sample is heated by means of the burner, which is mounted on the base with the possibility of movement relative to the longitudinal axis of the sample and in the plane of the base with micrometric screws, the axes of which are mutually perpendicular. Distance between the end of the sample and the burner, and the diameter of the latter are determined by means of calculation in accordance with the corresponding formulas. During the test, the temperature change is recorded on the surface of the sample, according to the difference in the values of which the conclusion about the thermal insulation properties of the coating is made.
EFFECT: increased reliability of the test results.
