FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: tested coating is applied on sample. The sample is heated within the range of operational temperatures; there is determined its temperature; thermo-mechanical stresses are established by value of deflection of the coated sample. Also, there is used a tubular cooled sample. Surface of the sample is divided with plane passing through its lengthwise axis. On the formed half of sample surface there is either applied tested heat protecting coating or there is applied coating with known properties. The second half of the sample is left without coating. Both protected and not protected surfaces of the sample are uniformly heated with source of heat facing surface of the sample. During the test the sample is continuously cooled and temperature is measured on the protected and not protected surfaces of the sample on opposite side from the source of heat. There is measured value of deflection in plane perpendicular to plane of division of the sample to covered and not covered parts.
EFFECT: evaluation of value and character of thermo-mechanical stresses in cooled parts with heat protecting high temperature coating considering conditions of heat emission to metal protected with coating in comparison with metal without coating.
