FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a random co-polymer composition and injection molding articles made therefrom. Composition of the random propylene co-polymer contains (A) 60–85 wt% of propylene co-polymer and 0.1 to 2 % by weight of links derived from ethylene which has a melt flow rate value in accordance with ISO 1133 (230 °C, 2.16 kg), from 80 to 200 g / 10 min, and (B) 15–40 % by weight of a propylene co-polymer and from 7 to 17 % by weight of links derived from ethylene. Composition has total ethylene content of 3 to 4.5 % by weight and a melt flow rate value in accordance with ISO 1133 (230 °C, 2.16 kg), in the range from above 60 to 150 g / 10 min. At that, the composition is not subjected to any treatment that is carried out after discharge from the reactor, which increases its melt flow rate by more than 5 g / 10 min.
EFFECT: composition according to the invention has high rigidity, high impact strength, and also high transparency.
