FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, particularly to cardiovascular surgery. In the region of the left mediastinal part of the pericardium, the pericardial cavity is fenestrated into the left pleural cavity up to 4 cm in diameter below the area of the diaphragmatic nerve. After that, the drainage is located in the area of the diaphragmatic surface of the pericardium, then drainage is located in the area of the left mediastinal part of the pericardium by conducting through the previously performed fenestration. Then drainage is installed in the left pleural sinus such that the working part with the apertures does not go beyond the limits of the sinus.
EFFECT: method allows to prevent cardiac tamponade during cardiosurgery operations throughout the postoperative period with a reduction in the number of drains to one.
