FIELD: manufacturing technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of production of an abrasive tool on a galvanic bond and can be used in the processing of zirconium and other hard alloys, as well as ceramics. Galvanic fixing is performed to the prepared tool blank of a coarse fraction of diamond grains at a given temperature and the current density to fill the working surface of the tool is not more than 70 %. Fasten the coarse diamond grains with a layer of electrically deposited nickel by no more than 0.1 the size of the diamond grains, and electrochemically etch the applied coating in the electrolyte with sulfuric acid to form 35–55 % of the free intergranular space. In the space mentioned, a fine fraction of diamond grains is applied by a galvanic method to a depth of 0.2 of their size with nickel overcoating for 2/3 of the size of fine grained diamond grains.
EFFECT: as a result, the cutting ability of the tool increases and its wear resistance increases.
