FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: coarse diamond grains are secured at tool body in first layer of the binder in thickness making 0.2-0.4 of their size. Then, fine diamond grains are secured in second binder layer its thickness making 0.3-0.5 of their size. Then binder layer containing nanosized diamond powders is applied to the level of fine diamond grain tops. Size of fine diamond grains makes 40-60% of that of coarse diamond grains.
EFFECT: longer life of tool.
