FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electroplating and can be used in manufacture of diamond tools. Method includes fixing on the working part of the tool blank of diamond grains and their covering with a galvanic coupling, the diamond grains being covered with a nickel galvanic coupling, and carbon nanotubes "Taunite" are added to the nickel electrolyte by means of an ultrasonic disperser in the form of a powder, with the following component ratio, g/l: nickel sulfate (II) 250–260; nickel chloride (II) 60–7; peroxoboric acid 30–40; carbon nanotubes "Taunite" 0.1–0.15.
EFFECT: increased service life of a tool by means of a longer retention of diamond grains on the working part of the tool.
