FIELD: instrument engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a hinge container, made from a polyethylene composition. Composition comprises a first high density polyethylene, which has a density of 0.940 to 0.968 g/cm3, melt flow index I2.16 of from 0.5 to 10.0 dg/min, and the ratio of melt flow indexes I21.6 / I2.16, which is at least 25, and a second high density polyethylene, having a melt flow index ratio of 30 or less.
EFFECT: disclosed compositions are suitable for the manufacture of flexible hinged containers, which have a high durability of their flexible hinges, and are also able to maintain their integrity after a 200-fold closure, when testing the hinge for durability.
