FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for drying solutions to produce a granular product with increased hygroscopicity, and can be used in various areas of chemical technologies and related industries where higher requirements on the final moisture content of the product are imposed. Chamber for conducting heat and mass exchange between the dispersed particles and the gaseous medium comprises a casing with a cover, vessel with porous walls that is installed concentrically inside the casing, nozzles installed inside the casing and device for bleeding of spent gaseous medium with porous working surface, which is equipped with drive. Inside the casing there are grids fixed, between which there is a layer of inert carrier. Inert carrier is made in the form of a cylindrical ring, on the inner side surface of which partitions in form of washers with holes perpendicular to ring axis are fixed, whose axes are asymmetric to the axis of the ring, or inert carrier is made in the form of a block inscribed in a circle, consisting of seven hexagonal parallelepipeds without upper and lower bases interconnected by lateral faces, or inert carrier is made in the form of interconnected helical spirals inscribed in a spherical surface with a center lying on the spirals connection axis, or inert carrier is made in the form of at least twelve block-connected three-bladed propellers, the projection of which onto the plane of the drawing is inscribed in a circle with a center coinciding with the center of one of them.

EFFECT: increase in the efficiency of drying processes.
