FIELD: chemical industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for processing solid waste from soda production and can be used in the chemical industry in solving environmental, technological and economic problems. Method for processing solid waste from production of sodium carbonate by ammonium method is carried out for waste, obtained by filtration of the distillation liquid using industrial filter presses. Solid wastes obtained after filtration of the distillation liquid, having a composition, wt. %: calcium carbonate 38.4–40.0, calcium oxide hydrate 29–31, calcium sulfate 6.5–7.0, inactive and water-insoluble metal oxides, as well as oxides of heavy metals and double, triple calcium oxides, magnesium, aluminum and silicon 22.0–22.5, calcium chloride 0.10–2.77, sodium chloride 0.20–1.2, is fed to a furnace. Process is carried at a temperature of 900–950 °C.
EFFECT: technical result of the invention consists in developing a method for processing solid wastes of soda production, which provides receiving secondary raw materials for the soda production.
