FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ferrous metallurgy, in particular to die cast steels. Invention can be used to manufacture hot-deforming tools. Die cast steel contains, wt%: carbon 0.2–0.3; silicon 0.5–1.0; manganese 0.8–1.2; chromium 6.5–7.0; nickel 2.0–2.5; molybdenum 0.35–0.45; vanadium 0.8–1.2; barium 0.002–0.004; antimony 0.002–0.004; silver 0.02–0.04; copper 1.0–1.6; aluminium 0.2–0.25; iron – balance.
EFFECT: steel has high heat resistance.
