FIELD: image processing means.
SUBSTANCE: system for printing an image on a surface may include a robot, having at least one arm. Printhead can be mounted to the arm and may be configured to be moved by the arm over a surface along a rastering path while printing a new image slice on the surface. Image slice may have opposite lateral edges. Printhead may be configured to print an image slice with an image gradient band along at least one of the opposite side edges, wherein the image intensity within the image gradient band decreases from the interior of the image gradient band to the side edge.
EFFECT: proposed solution provides for applying complex and/or multi-color images accurately and efficiently in terms of cost and time.
