FIELD: measuring equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention is meant to be used for in case of flaw detection, structurroscopy and thickness measurement of concrete products and products from rocks. Summary of the invention is that ultrasonic transducer contains a piezoelectric element with a flat working surface, the first and the second side surfaces of which are plane-parallel and oriented perpendicular to the working surface, the piezoelectric element is polarized perpendicularly to the lateral surfaces, and the electrodes are applied to the side surfaces, each of the electrodes on the side surfaces is divided into N identical sections, and the first electrode section of the second side surface is electrically connected to the second section of the first side surface, the N-1 electrode section of the second side surface is electrically connected to the N section of the first side surface, and the first electrode section of the first side surface and the N electrode section of the second side surface are outputs of the piezoelectric transducer.

EFFECT: increase in the efficiency of the ultrasonic transducer in the reception mode.
