SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a sealing element for fixing a hood to a wheel hub. Wheel hood is characterized by the presence of a protective portion that covers the gap formed between the hub and the wheel hood. Wheel hub contains a unit in which a sealing element is placed into the gap between the hub and the hood of the wheel. Sealing element has a body and a sealing edge, wherein the sealing lip faces towards the outside and protrudes beyond it.
EFFECT: increased reliability of insulation of the inner space of a hub.
