FIELD: medicine; pharmacology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of medicine, in particular to pharmacology, and discloses an agent for healing burn wounds, containing balsamic liniment (according to Vishnevsky) and zinc oxide (ZnO). Agent is characterized by the fact that a microcrystalline zinc oxide powder (ZnO), taken in an amount of 2 % by weight, is added to the known balsamic liniment (according to Vishnevsky), taken in an amount of 98 % by weight.
EFFECT: invention provides a reduction in inflammatory process in wounds, softening of scabs, prevention of damage to freshly formed skin and painless rejection of necrotic tissues, and can be used for pharmacological correction of disorders of proliferative and reparative processes in the skin in case of thermal burns.
