FIELD: experimental medicine.
SUBSTANCE: methods for stimulating healing of burn injuries in an experiment. Local exposure to nanosecond microwave pulses is carried out once on the burn area, 4,000 pulses per 1 irradiation session/day with a peak power flux density of 140 W/cm2 with a pulse repetition rate of 8 Hz locally for 4 days. Additionally, before the first exposure, a single suspension of mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) is injected subcutaneously in a total amount of 1×106 at two points on the wound surface at 6 and 12 o’clock.
EFFECT: accelerated wound healing process due to formation of granulation tissue and reducing the thickness of the scab in a shorter time to ensure scar-free healing.
