FIELD: manufacturing technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of creating an identification mark on a metal film and may be used for marking electrically conductive parts, for example rolled products, parts of vehicles, products of mechanical engineering, aircraft building, products of the nuclear industry, in particular TFE. Electro spark discharge is performed between the high voltage electrode and the metal carrier and then a digital code and a virtual identification grid are applied. Simultaneously with an electric spark discharge around the discharge gap, a stochastic magnetic field is created. For this purpose, around the discharge gap, a drum is mounted with the possibility of rotating it. On the drum randomly set a set of permanent magnets of different shapes and different coercive forces.
EFFECT: method of creating an identification mark is proposed.
