SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of grass mowing devices. Coil support with a coil of a trimmer line has a coil core. Said core has an outer lateral surface and first and second axial ends. Axial ends are provided with securing elements. Securing elements project past the lateral surface of the coil core for positional fixation of the coil. Securing element at the first axial end of the core is formed by a support plate with a longitudinal centre axis. Size of the support plate in the direction of the longitudinal centre axis is greater than in the direction perpendicular to its longitudinal centre axis. Coil core is fixedly connected with the support plate and with additional securing elements that are provided on the second axial end.
EFFECT: easier winding of the coil of a trimmer line on the support; easier retrieval of portions of the line; avoiding spontaneous unwinding of the coil and entanglement of the line.
