FIELD: transportation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to vehicle seats. Seat comprises supporting structure and first and second profile panels forming the base and the backrest, the first and second supporting side members connected to each other by the transverse member. Each support side member comprises first and second rectilinear segments connected through a curved connection zone. Each first rectilinear segment has an elongated groove which is arranged to receive the lateral edge of the first panel forming the seat base. Each second rectilinear segment has a first elongated groove, configured to receive a lateral edge of the second panel forming the seatback. Second rectilinear segment has a second elongated groove parallel to the first and spaced from it on the first segment. Seat contains a third profile panel, similar to the second profile panel. Each rectilinear lateral edge of the third panel is located in the corresponding second slot such that the third panel faces the second panel and forms a cavity for accommodating the seat belt segment of the seat belt assembly.
EFFECT: simplicity and strength of construction, protection of the passenger are achieved.
