FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to conjugated diolefin polymers and methods for their preparation. Method of making a polymer with stable Mooney viscosity and molecular weight is described, where a conjugated diolefin is reacted in a hydrocarbon solvent in the presence of an initiator to form a polymer, after which alkoxy silane terminal functionalising groups are bonded to the polymer. Then, a stabilising agent is added to the polymer, said agent being triaryl silanol, optionally in the presence of a hydrocarbon oil, and subjected to desolvation.
EFFECT: resulting polymer has stable Mooney viscosity and molecular weight that is retained for a long time.
