FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a method of stabilization of polymers with Mooney viscosity growth. Method involves polymerisation of conjugated diene monomer, not necessarily with a monomer copolimerizable therewith, to alkyllithium initiation to obtain polymer "glue" with a "live" polymer in it; the reaction of the "live" polymer with a functionalising agent containing a hydrolysable functional group. Method includes introducing a stabilizing agent to the polymer, where the stabilizing agent is defined by the formula , where χ is a hydrolyzable group that forms an acidic species upon hydrolysis, where R2, R3 and R4 are each independently a halogen atom, a hydrocarbyl group, a hydrocarboxylate group, or a hydrocarbyloxy group. Functionalised polymer is extracted.
EFFECT: invention increases the resistance to Mooney viscosity growth.
