FIELD: packaging industry.
SUBSTANCE: system is designed to pack dry leaves or plant stems in a sealed shell. The system comprises a machine for grinding leaves or stems with an inlet for their supply and discharging to leave crushed leaves or stems and with at least one grinding device consisting of first and second shredding elements. Moreover, the second element can be removed relative to the first and the first and second elements are configured to bend the leaves or stems until they break. The method of packing dry leaves or stems of plants comprises grinding and inserting leaves or stems into the envelope in an environment of non-oxidizable gas, and grinding is performed by bending leaves or stems until they break. The invention is also a machine for carrying out the method.
EFFECT: reducing costs, increasing the tightness of the capsule.
