FIELD: personal articles and house appliances.
SUBSTANCE: described is capsule (10) for dispensing a beverage comprising main body (20) suitable for containing a product to be dispensed (P), which includes bottom (22) and side wall (24) extending from said bottom (22) and ending with edge (26 ); closing element (30) suitable for hermetically sealing said main body (20); and at least one first valve means (40) suitable for allowing the beverage to exit capsule (10) or to allow the liquid to enter capsule (10). Main body (20) is made of cellulose, closing member (30) is made of biodegradable material, and capsule (10) further includes first sealing film (23) made from an edible material containing at least one salt of alginic acid and placed inside said bottom (22) of main body (20) on at least one first valve means (40). Also a method for producing a capsule for dispensing beverages as defined above is described.
EFFECT: proposed are a capsule for dispensing beverages and method for its manufacture.
