FIELD: oil and gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of oil and gas industry and can be used to measure the diameter of boreholes, as well as their depth. Caliper is electrohydromechanical, includes an electric motor connected to a pump that is connected to a filter, a working fluid pressure sensor, a safety valve, and connected via a pressure line to an additional pressure line, and also to the distributors via a non-return valve. Moreover, in the first and second hydraulic cylinders connected with the first and second hydroaccumulators and connected to the second and fourth distributors, on the rods connected to the first and second centralizers, the first and second displacement sensors are mounted. On the third hydraulic cylinder connected to the sixth distributor, the rod of which is connected to the springs attached to the measuring levers and resting on the support, lever position indicators are made in the form of displacement sensors. In this case, the first, third and fifth distributors are connected to a tank to which a level sensor, a temperature sensor, a second fluid pressure sensor, an equalizing valve and a globe valve are connected.
EFFECT: reduction in the number of tripping operations required and increase in the reliability of the caliper.
