FIELD: weapons and ammunition.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ammunition, and in particular to the over-caliber particle grenades, to the hand grenade launcher. Technical result is an increase in the over-caliber particle grenade combat effectiveness. Said grenade comprises caliber part with propelling charge and igniter, over-caliber particle part with explosive charge, fragmentation plate and trajectory fuse. At the moment of detonation, the over-caliber warhead is a flat disk arranged perpendicular to projectile axis. Warhead is divided into five parts. One central part is made in the form of a square and is located perpendicular to the grenade longitudinal axis. On the central part a shaped fairing is installed. Other four peripheral parts are made in the form of circle parts formed by each of uniformly alternating side of the square one end extending to the intersection with the warhead forming circumference. Peripheral parts are configured to change their position relative to each other from the folded, at which they are arranged around the central part parallel to the grenade longitudinal axis, to the unfolded one, in which together with the central part they form a flat rectangle, through intermediate positions. In these positions they are located at a given angle from 0 to 90° to the grenade longitudinal axis by its flight. Two of them are made in the form of the letter "U" and in the initial state are located in such a way that in the folded state their sides form a rectangle, preferably a square.
EFFECT: enabling increase in the grenade combat effectiveness.
