FIELD: ammunition.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ammunition, in particular to above-caliber beam grenades, to a manual grenade launcher. Above-caliber beam grenade contains a caliber unit with a propelling charge and ignition means, an over-caliber beam warhead with an explosive charge, a fragmentation plate and a trajectory fuse. At the moment of detonation the over-caliber warhead is a flat disk arranged perpendicular to projectile axis. Warhead is divided into five parts. One central part is made in the form of a square and is located perpendicular to the grenade longitudinal axis. Four peripheral parts are made in the form of parts of a circle, formed by extending one end of each evenly alternating side of the square to intersection with the circle forming the warhead. Enabling increase in the grenade combat effectiveness.
EFFECT: technical result is an improvement in mass-dimensional characteristics and flight paths, as well as an increase in combat effectiveness.
