FIELD: ammunition.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ammunition, particularly, to over-caliber beam grenades of hand grenade launchers. Sub-caliber boron garnet comprises a caliber part with a propellant charge and an igniting device, an over-caliber beam warhead located in front of it with an explosive charge, a fragmentation plate and a trajectory fuse. Warhead consists of several sections. Each of the sections is a part of the disc. Sections are made with possibility of rotation around axes connecting these sections to each other and located perpendicular to grenade axis. Grenades are folded along the axis during service and during flight before section opening. Warhead is divided into five sections. Central section is made in the form of a square and is located perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the grenade. Profiled fairing is detachably mounted on central section. There are four peripheral sections. They are made in form of parts of circle formed by extension of one end of each uniformly alternating side of square to intersection with circle forming warhead. Sections are configured to change their position relative to each other from folded to unfolded. In the folded position, the sections are arranged around the central section parallel to the longitudinal axis of the grenade. In unfolded position sections together with central section form flat disk through intermediate positions, in which they are located at specified angle from 0 to 90° to grenade longitudinal axis along its flight.
EFFECT: technical result is higher effectiveness of grenade.
