FIELD: weapons and ammunition.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ammunition, and particularly, to the over-calibre particle grenades, to the hand grenade launcher. Device comprises calibre part with propelling charge and igniter, over-calibre particle part with explosive charge, fragmentation plate and trajectory fuse. At the moment, of detonation the over-calibre warhead is a flat disk arranged perpendicular to projectile axis. Warhead is divided into five parts, one central and four peripheral ones. Central part is made in the form of a square and is located perpendicular to the grenade longitudinal axis. Peripheral parts are made in the form of circle parts. They are formed by each evenly alternating square sides one end extension to the intersection with the warhead forming circumference. Enabling increase in the grenade combat effectiveness.
EFFECT: technical result is increase in the grenade combat effectiveness with the improvement of its mass-dimensional characteristics.
