FIELD: transportation.
SUBSTANCE: diesel locomotive contains a frame with trucks and suspensions, a body, a power supply unit connected to propellers, a two-unit mechanical set, a motor-compressor, control devices. As propellers used two turned relative to each other at 180 degrees, vibroactuators, that through the disengaging clutches are connected to the front and rear ends of the engine shaft, the same in construction. Each of them contains a body closed by a front cover, through which a leading shaft is passed through an opening, on which the driving gear is engaged, meshed with the driven gears fixed on two horizontal compound shafts parallel to each other, the ends of which are installed in the bearings of the front and back covers of the body. Inside the body there are vibration mechanisms, each of which comprises a fixed gear attached inside to the body having a central hole through which a horizontal compound shaft is passed, each part of which is formed integrally with a crossing, at each of the four ends of which there is a single cylindrical gear with the possibility of free rotation, engaging with the teeth of the fixed gear and having counterweights. Counterweight of each subsequent gear of one crossing is shifted relative to the previous gear by 90 degrees. Crossings of one row rotate relative to the crossing of the other row in the opposite direction.
EFFECT: design of propellers are being simplified and the tractive effort are being increased.
