FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of electrical engineering, namely to a charging control system and a method for charging a lithium-sulphur cell, containing steps of determining the discharge capacity, Qn, an cell during the charge-discharge cycle n, calculating the value of a⋅Qn, where a = 1.05–1.4, and in a subsequent charge-discharge cycle, n + x, where x is an integer from 1 to 5, while charging the cell to a capacity of Qn + x, which is equal to a⋅Qn.
EFFECT: increasing the lifetime of the lithium-sulfur battery during its cycling is the technical result of the invention.
