SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a capsule for preparing a beverage, as well as to a system for preparing a beverage, containing such a capsule. Beverage preparation capsule comprising side wall (2), inlet wall (3) and outlet wall (4), forming hollow body (5), which contains a brewing product for brewing, wherein the inlet wall comprises a piercing area, which is designed to pierce brewing device (20), including piercing means (21) arranged along a predetermined perforation loop of said capsule to inject a brewing liquid therein, characterized in that the piercing area of inlet wall (3) comprises at least one portion (10), protruding outward from inlet wall (3), said part (10) comprising inner lateral wall (11), outer lateral wall (12) and perforating wall (13), the width (w) of perforating wall (13) being equal to the distance between said inner and outer lateral walls (11, 12), wherein said width (w) of perforating wall (13) is between 1.5 mm and 5 mm, preferably between 2.0 mm and 4.0 mm, wherein at least one protruding portion (10) extends along a ring of radius (a), measured from the central axis (X) of the capsule, inner lateral wall (11) and outer lateral wall (12) being equally spaced from indicated radius (a), said radius (a) being 5 mm to 9 mm, more preferably from 6 mm to 8 mm, the capsule further comprising reinforcing means comprising at least one rib (8), passing along inlet wall (3) from at least one of the walls to which inner and outer lateral walls (11, 12) of protruding portion (10) belong, for external strengthening of said projecting part.
