FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: holographic image display device comprises a control unit, a radiation source, an optical system, a spatial radiation modulator, a filtration unit, an electrooptical scanner unit, a multi-channel projection optical system and a screen equipped with a field lens. Multi-channel projection optical system contains two optical channels, each of which contains a channel lens, and a common lens. Channel lenses and the common lens provide the transfer of each subframe from the sequence of subframes carried by the modulated and filtered radiation beam to a screen plane with a predetermined zoom factor. Control unit is configured to calculate said predetermined sequence of subframes for the hologram image frame to be displayed on the screen.

EFFECT: technical result consists in increasing the size of the displayed holographic image, the viewing angle of the holographic image, resolution rise, the number of color gradation levels of the reproduced holographic image and quality improvement of the holographic image.
