FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of electrical engineering, in particular to engine-flywheel, and can be used for systems of orientation and stabilization of space vehicles. Engine-flywheel contains an anchor with an m-phase winding, where m = 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 …. – the number of phases of the armature winding, and the inductor with poles. Each phase consists of coils. Inductor consists of interconnected cores and magnetized in the axial direction of permanent magnets located between the cores of the inductor. At the same time, the armature and inductor are united by a body made of non-magnetic material. Body is a hollow inside ring torus. Coils of the armature winding are fixed from the outside of the body frame, and the inductor is located inside the casing with the possibility of rotation. Lubricant, which is a magnetic fluid, is placed inside the body frame.
EFFECT: mass reduction during maintaining a significant moment of inertia of the inductor and high electromagnetic power.
