FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in large-diameter annular flywheel motors. Ring motor-flywheel comprises armature with m-phase winding, the number of phases of the armature winding is m=2, 3, 4, 5, 6…, each of the phases consists of coils, and an inductor with poles in the form of a torus. The inductor consists of magnetized permanent magnets fastened together. The armature and the inductor are interconnected by a housing, whereas the inductor rotates inside the armature. A feature of the invention is the winding of the coils of each phase of the armature winding on a separate soft magnetic core in the form of a bracket, covering the rotor torus at half the circumference of the torus cross section, the brackets are located opposite each other. Magnetic circuits in the form of brackets with armature winding coils can be distributed inside the rotor sector, as in an arc-stator electric machine, or located around the entire circumference of the torus.
EFFECT: minimum mass of the stator magnetic circuits.
