FIELD: instrument engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a hydraulic transmission. Hydraulic transmission device (20) comprises pump (24) having a variable cylinder volume and supplying one or more hydraulic actuators (26A, 26B) and control unit (50). In the device throttle feed holes and the output of the actuators are designed in such a way that when the pressures in these throttles are equal, the torque at the output of the drives is zero. To bring the device into an inactive state without physically traversing the drives, the control unit is adapted to control the device in the "no-torque" mode by adjusting the volume of the pump cylinder, so that the pressures in the delivery and exhaust chokes remain substantially equal.
EFFECT: enabling device higher reliability.
