FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to control over vehicle drive. Method of control over vehicle traction, including propulsion system with mechanical drive from internal combustion engine and second propulsion system with hydraulic pump involves automatic determining and transmitting into control unit of signal on breakaway condition and provision of thrust from second propulsion system in response to breakaway condition. Then control is performed in manual mode using torque from first propulsion system and automatic control of second propulsion system by control unit. Second propulsion system contains two hydraulic wheel drives connected in parallel and installed on corresponding front controlled wheels. Invention also relates to appropriate thrust system and respective heavy vehicle with thrust system.
EFFECT: breakaway characteristics are improved.
