FIELD: acoustics.
SUBSTANCE: using: for calibration of acoustic emission transducers. Content of Invention include that test acoustic signal from one source is received by two acoustic emission transducers, standard and calibrated, initially in acoustic contact with transmitting unit, standard acoustic emission transducer is introduced, signal from this converter is processed and stored, then calibrated transducer is installed on place of standard one, second signal in computer is recorded and processed, which is compared with reference one, test acoustic signal is reproduced by impacting transmitting unit with calibrated metal elements, calibration of system is carried out with the help of high-speed tensometric system and strain-gauge connected to it, which record absolute displacement of object to place of impact. When processing results, transition coefficients are calculated, dependent on time and parameters of impact, correlation function and transition coefficients are calculated. Then, after installing calibrated converter in place of standard one, impact is again applied to transmitting unit and converter is calibrated using correlation function and transition coefficient for transmission unit system and standard acoustic emission transducer.
EFFECT: technical result: ensuring accuracy of calibration of acoustic emission converters.
