FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of metallurgy of noble metals, in particular to the extraction of silver from acid solutions of silver nitrate by electrowinning using insoluble heat-treated titanium anodes. Before the electrowinning process, titanium anodes are prepared by calcination in an air medium at a temperature of 450÷500 °C for the formation on the surface of a titanium anode oxide-nitride film with a thickness of 30÷50 microns with protective properties. Electrowinning process is carried out at a voltage of 2÷3 V, current density 210÷240 A/m2.
EFFECT: method allows to extract silver of high quality efficiently.
