SUBSTANCE: removable lens barrel attached to the camera body, which comprises: an optical system, which includes a focus adjustment lens; drive unit that drives the focus adjustment lens in the direction of the optical axis of the optical system; transmitting and receiving unit that transmits to the camera body a first coefficient and at least one of a second coefficient and a third coefficient, which determine the amount of displacement of the image plane. And the first coefficient depends on the position of the lens for the focus adjustment lens, second coefficient is determined by maximum movement of the focus adjustment lens, the third coefficient is determined by minimum movement of the focus adjustment lens.

EFFECT: technical result is obtaining a focus adjustment device that properly detects the focus adjustment state of the optical system.
