HEAT EXCHANGING DEVICE Russian patent published in 2018 - IPC F28D7/00

Abstract RU 2650444 C1

FIELD: heat exchange.

SUBSTANCE: heat exchange apparatus, comprising a bundle of heat transfer tubes disposed in a casing with nozzles for supply and removal of heat transfer fluids of the tube and shell sides, is provided with an additional nozzle for supplying the shell side heat transfer fluid, which is located on the casing at the point where the temperature of the shell side heat transfer fluid entering through this nozzle and the temperature of the flow of the shell side heat transfer fluid moving inside the casing from the other nozzles to the discharge nozzle coincide. Additional nozzle is located at an acute angle to the longitudinal axis of the heat exchanger and in parallel to the flow of the shell side heat transfer fluid moving inside the casing from the other nozzle supplying heat transfer fluid.

EFFECT: such an arrangement of an additional nozzle for supplying shell side heat transfer fluid makes it possible to implement a 2-stage hot water heating circuit in one casing of heat exchanger.
