SUBSTANCE: invention refers to the field of the gas industry, in particular to the gas-compressor stations of the main gas pipeline, and can be used in order to generate natural gas from the pipeline section which is adjacent to the gas-compressor station before putting it into overhaul. Gas production from the section of the main gas pipeline, which is withdrawn into the overhaul in the three-lane corridor is carried out by two different types of gas pumping units of the gas-compressor station according to the scheme "in parallel" in the mode of operation of the gas turbine plant and full-pressure centrifugal compressors in the area of their maximum efficiency.

EFFECT: this provides for the resource saving of natural gas, which instead of discharging into the atmosphere is directed as the sales gas to the consumer, thereby increasing the efficiency of the gas transportation enterprise.
