FIELD: pipeline transportation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to pipeline transportation of gas and is intended for releasing gas from an isolated section of a main gas pipeline gallery. The method involves the shutting by line valves of the section of the gas pipeline from which the gas will be pumped out. After the section of the gas pipeline is shut, the first additional pipeline containing two valves is installed at the tie-in of the compressor station, between which an ejector is installed. One end of the first additional pipeline is connected to the inlet loop of the compressor station. The second end of the first additional pipeline is connected to the output loop of the compressor station. One end of the second additional pipeline is connected to the inlet of the ejector. The second end of this pipeline is connected to a jumper located between the inlet and output loops of the compressor station. Next, the valves located on the suction and discharge jumpers of the compressor station are opened, the valves on the inlet and outlet loops of the compressor station are closed. Then the gas is pumped out using an ejector. To do this, both valves are opened on the first additional pipeline to drain gas from the output loop of the compressor station into the input loop of the compressor station, after which the valves on the jumper and on the second additional pipeline are opened sequentially to pump gas into the input loop of the compressor station.
EFFECT: increasing the efficiency of pumping gas from the disconnected section of the corridor of the main gas pipelines.
